Pastor Tim Stobbe

PASTOR TIM STOBBE

PASTOR MARK KLINGLER

PASTOR TIM STOBBE
Tim was born and raised in a loving Christian home in Abbotsford, B.C. Canada. After storming the castle, slaying the dragon and rescuing his bride, Tina, they began their journey together in the fall of 1996. He graduated with a B.A. in Leadership and Ministry from Alberta Bible College with studies at Columbia Bible College and ministry experience with a short-term mission agency, Venture Teams International (VTI) contributing to the degree. Before coming to WayPoint in 2001, Tim and Tina served with VTI in the discipling and training of new team members for a little over 3 years in Calgary, AB. Tim and Tina are enjoying life here on the Key Peninsula with their 2 children. Tim’s favorite part of serving as the pastor at WayPoint Church is seeing people continue to make steps closer to Jesus. Having a staff that laughs at his jokes is pretty good too.

PASTOR MARK KLINGLER

Mark was raised in a small town in Northwest Kansas.  At 17, he decided to follow Jesus and become a minister.  Mark and Anna Klingler met in Nebraska at Summit Christian College in 2003 and married in 2005.  Before moving to Washington, Mark ministered in various positions throughout the Midwest. In 2012, Mark’s family moved to Washington to be an intern and learn from Evergreen Church in Bothell.  To support his church habit, Mark worked as a CNC machinist for four years making precision parts for airplanes and subsea flow control.  Mark and Anna have four children. Elizabeth is 9, Lyla is 8, Josiah is 6 and Judah is 4. They love to have people over and invite them into “Klingler culture”.

PASTOR DREW PAPPAS

PASTOR DREW PAPPAS
Drew was born and raised right here on the Key Peninsula. He graduated from PHS (Go Seahawks!), and went on to major in Audio Engineering. In 2008, Drew fell in love with a redhead who was a fellow counselor at summer camp. In 2010, he married her, and began a job as a Marine Electrician at PSNS where he would stay for over 7 years. After also working part time here at WayPoint running the youth group, WayPoint hired him full time as Youth Pastor in the fall of 2017. Drew and Jessica live in Port Orchard and have a son, Jackson, who will be 3 in March, and have #2 on the way, due in July. They also have a dog, Pepper. They now run the the same summer camp that brought them together. Drew and Jessica’s heart is to see the youth of this area transformed by the power of Jesus and his amazing love for them. They love to geek out, go on adventures in the mountains, and play trains with Jackson. Drew loves running, local sports, sci fi, puns, and old JDM cars. He would also love to be a writer someday.
