PASTOR MARK KLINGLER
Mark was raised in a small town in Northwest Kansas. At 17, he decided to follow Jesus and become a minister. Mark and Anna Klingler met in Nebraska at Summit Christian College in 2003 and married in 2005. Before moving to Washington, Mark ministered in various positions throughout the Midwest. In 2012, Mark’s family moved to Washington to be an intern and learn from Evergreen Church in Bothell. To support his church habit, Mark worked as a CNC machinist for four years making precision parts for airplanes and subsea flow control. Mark and Anna have four children. Elizabeth is 8, Lyla is 7, Josiah is 5 and Judah is 3. They love to have people over and invite them into “Klingler culture”.
Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at WayPoint.
Life’s an adventure…let’s share in the journey together!
“Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). Jesus told his followers that this command is right up there with loving God. In fact, loving our neighbors is one way we show our love for God.At WayPoint Church we want to love our community–the Key Peninsula–through service. We want to serve our community in big ways and small. Whether it’s a planned event like Vacation Bible School our Candy Carnival in October or just being the type of neighbors who look out for others, we want to follow Jesus’ example of servanthood.
MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY
Using media to spread the gospel is a growing area of ministry in our church. We try to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Each Sunday a team is needed to provide quality sound and media for our services. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website. Listen HERE.
GLOBAL MISSIONS At WayPoint Church we are passionate about sharing with others the hope and truth of Jesus Christ. While we want to reach our neighbors, we also want to impact the whole world. Jesus told his followers to “go into all the world and preach the good news”. That’s why we help support ten full-time mission workers from Alaska to Pakistan.
We have partnered with a number of organizations we have found to be faithful to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Members of our community and church join in prayer in our sanctuary every Monday morning between the hours of 5:30- and 8:00am. Find out more at KeyPenPrayer.org
Sorry, but we are having technical issues with our sermon uploads. You can download older sermons from the WayPoint Church App which is free to download at http://get.theapp.co/1e9b
